The Center For Coordinating Oregon Home Visiting Systems
Supporting Equitable Access to Early Childhood Home Visiting Through Collaborative Action

The Center for Coordinating Oregon Home Visiting Systems (CCOHVS) works with a wide network of state and local agencies, home visiting programs and staff, and families and community members to ensure that all pregnant people and families have equitable access to early childhood home visiting services that meet their unique family needs, characteristics, and strengths.

Why Home Visiting Systems?

Prenatal & early childhood home visits provide vital support, improving parenting, family well-being, and health. Yet, only 8-18% of eligible families receive these services due to barriers like lack of awareness, complex systems, and limited resources.

We are taking action! CCOHVS is working to expand access through family leadership, coordinated referrals, and cross-sector collaboration to meet Oregon’s aims to build a universal, equitable home visiting system so every family gets the support they deserve.
